First and foremost in my life is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the only reason I get to do what I love, and He has blessed me with the good health and true passion in which I am able to do it. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, which is where I still call home today. Growing up my family took me to both large and small rodeos in central Texas, however I come from a family whose rodeo background consists only of the spectator's side of the sport. Because I had seen rodeo growing up, I fell in love with the dream, and by the age of five years old was determined to one day ride bulls. But even with a strong desire and playing a variety of physical sports growing up, I didn't get into rodeo until my late teenage years when I started knocking on the right doors. While riding had been a dream growing up, I knew well before I even climbed on the back of a bull I would be interested in pursuing a career in cowboy protection bull fighting. After the first night of being in a practice pen with a pair of cleats in exchange for spurs, I shot the first gap and grabbed my first bull by the head, and ever since that night I have been hooked (no pun intended). Bull riding gave me the perspective needed to be a successful bullfighter, as well as the right connections and relationships I needed in order to start out on the right foot. Aside from rodeo, hunting and fishing has always been a significant part of my life. I started guiding hunts at 16 years old, and have had the opportunity to work on multiple prestigious ranches across Texas. I am currently going to school in San Antonio, and pursuing a degree in wildlife and range management. I owe a special thanks to my peers, such as Chad Tenborg, Gannon Green, Todd Yarbrough, and other guys that I have fought with in the different parts of the region. They have all helped me in my efforts become a better bullfighter each time I step in an arena with them. I am also grateful to a wonderful family who tolerates what I do despite risks, the supportive friends along the way, as well as my extremely supportive and an amazing girlfriend who supports me in doing what I love as well as covering me in prayer every day I put on a pair of cleats. As I said, I give God the credit for everything I am capable of, and strive to glorify Him in all that I do both in and out of the arena, in efforts to further his Kingdom.
