Being raised in South Dakota, I had the privilege of living on a horse farm. But the Rodeo is what brought me here to Texas (where I currently live). CPS Energy is where I have been employed since October 1997, where I worked my way up to Distribution Lineman. I have an ever loving family and have been married to my beautiful wife, Amanda since September 2003; we have two little future cowboys Brayden Connor (born 12/7/04) and Kasen Reece (born 7/27/09). My family comes first in my life and those boys mean the world to me. My heart holds a very special place also for my son Brody McCall Tenborg which from a previous marriage. A tragic accident happened on February 10th 2001, and my 26 month old son went to be with the lord, he lives forever in my heart and is my angel watching over me. I have been around the rodeo scene for twenty five years. I started out in the Little Britches Rodeo, where I rode steers, Jr. Bulls and Sr. Bulls until 1991. I then moved on to open rodeo’s, where I spent five to six years involved in organizations such as CPJT Rodeo in Mexico Circuits, NPBR, APBR, World Class Rodeo, CPRA, and the PRCA. Then in 2007 I decided to protect cowboys instead of riding. Then on April 16th 2008, my partner and I, were accepted to a Two Bulls Academy in Sioux City, Iowa where we were accepted into the PBF as level 4 competitors. I enjoy fighting bulls, and I am here to help my fellow friends and younger cowboys who are now riding professionally. Who would have ever thought I would be fighting bulls today. It is such an adrenaline rush and I love saving cowboys lives!
